To achieve the highest possible performance in terms of automatic dedusting, it is necessary to equip the system with a floor cleaning system, consisting mainly of a series of floor suction hoods along the line.
The floor hoods can be vacuumed simultaneously or in sequence and cyclically, thanks to the use of pneumatic shutters along the pipes, to reduce the air flow required by the system and thus reduce the size and energy consumption of the associated fan.
Floor suction hoods are generally associated with a system of floor blowing bars, to ensure automatic cleaning and dedusting of the floor itself, but can also be used for manual cleaning, carried out by the operator during normal cleaning and maintenance operations of the line.
The floor hoods are sized and positioned in such a way as to minimize the overall dimensions in the passage areas and, where necessary, can be walked on in total safety.
For specific applications and to allow suction from both sides, floor hoods with double lateral slit or hoods suspended from the floor with lower slit can be used.
