Shredders or Grinders

Sorgato line of automatic shredders to manage the waste logs expelled through the unloading belts of the rewinders or manually.

The shredder is enclosed in a soundproof and safety cabin, located outside the soundproof cabin of the line and can be installed close to the latter or in another area.
The logs and waste expelled are transported with a motorized conveyor belt, protected by a safety openable tunnel, to the loading mouth of the shredder to be shredded by a toothed rotor roller made in carbon steel or Hardox.
The shredded waste product will then be pneumatically transported to the next process steps.

The Sorgato shredder is composed of:

motorized shredder, with loading mouth, toothed rotor roller made in carbon steel or Hardox, pneumatic conveying pipe and floor base;
soundproof cabin with safety doors and electric locks, external soundproof connection pipe and opening for log entry;
motorized conveyor belt for the transport of logs with presence sensors for automatic start and stop of the system;
protection tunnel that can be opened with safety electric lock;
dedicated electrical panel for the management of the shredder.

The processing waste management system works in a totally automatic way, both as regards the start and stop, and as regards the speed of dragging the logs, determined instantly by the effort to which the shredder is subjected based on the density of the product.
The shredder can handle waste even with a density greater than 250 kg/m3 and can shred up to two logs at the same time with variable speed depending on the density.
All the carpentry elements of the shredder are made of powder-coated carbon steel in customizable RAL color.
