TYPE: Automatic dry dust collector
APPLICATION: suitable for continuous operation with filter fabric cleaning system using fixed suction nozzles operating in sequence and in a continuous cycle.
The drum filter is designed for negative pressure operation and consists of an external structure made by modular panels in powder-coated carbon steel with any RAL color.
Customizable dimensions according to the air flow rate and the level of filtration required.
The structure is divided into:
- Drum area, inside which the dusty air is sucked in and where the rotating drum – covered with a special filtering fabric – and the nozzles, operating in sequence and in a continuous cycle, are located.

- Silencer area, inside which – depending on the noise characteristics of the fans used – there may be a soundproofing wall.

- Fan area, inside which are housed the main fan for suction from the air along the production line and the fan for cleaning the filter fabric by means of nozzles.
[Entry to this area can always be allowed, as it is located at ambient pressure]
- Second filtering station area (optional), inside which there is a cassette filter wall suitably designed to ensure an adequate level of filtration to be able to re-enter the filtered air into the working environment inside the plant.

Piping on the roof of the filter structure:
- inlet pipe for the dusty air to be treated;
- insulated and soundproof connection pipe (optional) between the main fan and the second filtering station (if any);
- expulsion pipe with diverter valve (optional) to alternate the expulsion in the atmosphere or inside the plant.
The treatment of dust sucked by nozzles is managed by a second filter, which can be a water scrubber filter or a system consisting of a cyclone filter and briquetting machine with reintroduction of filtered air inside the drum filter, according to the specific needs of the customer.
The drum filter is designed for the installation of fire extinguishing systems and does not require any explosion-proof device.
